Pup Round-Up is Belle Thompson’s dog training business in Los Angeles. This page explains what information we collect through puproundup.com, the forms it links to, and the booking and payment pages Belle sends clients to, and what we do with it.
Browsing this site
This website sets no cookies of its own and shows no advertising. It runs two scripts. The first, Cloudflare Web Analytics, counts page views and measures how fast pages load, without cookies and without following you to other websites. It tells us things like which pages are read most and which sites sent visitors here, never who you are. The second, on the FAQ page, opens or closes every answer when you press “Expand all” or “Collapse all”; it collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Our web host, Cloudflare, also receives the technical details that come with every visit to any website, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site, protect it from attacks, and give us overall visit counts. If Cloudflare blocks or checks a visit as a possible attack, it shows us that visit’s details, such as its IP address, for a short time. We don’t keep our own log of them. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor isn’t an automated attack, it may show its own check page and set a short-lived security cookie. Cloudflare handles all of this under its privacy policy.
When you get in touch, book, or pay
The forms this site links to, and the booking and payment links Belle emails to clients, open pages run by other companies. What you enter there reaches us through them:
- Contact and new-client forms (Google Forms): what the forms ask and you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, details about your dog (including its health and behavior), and your message.
- Booking (Google Calendar): your name, email address, the time you pick, and your answers to any questions on the booking form.
- Payment (Stripe): Stripe collects your payment and billing details. We see your name, email address, billing address or ZIP code, what you bought and the amount, your payment method’s type and last four digits (for a card, also its brand and expiration date), the IP address and approximate location the payment came from, and your answers to any questions on the payment page, but never your full card or account number.
- Email: if you write to belle@puproundup.com, we receive your message and your email address. Our email runs on Google Workspace.
Google and Stripe have their own privacy policies for what they collect on their pages, including their own cookies: Google’s and Stripe’s.
How we use it
We use your information only to run this site and keep it safe, reply to you, schedule and provide training, take payment, send appointment reminders, and keep the records the law requires, such as tax records.
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for advertising. We share it only with the companies that help run the business (Cloudflare for the website; Google for email, forms, and calendar; Stripe for payments), only for those purposes, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you’re a client, and afterward only as long as our records and legal obligations need it. Then we delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or have us delete it: email belle@puproundup.com, and we’ll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep payment records the law requires us to keep.
Do Not Track
Our analytics don’t follow you from site to site or build a profile of you, so there’s nothing for your browser’s Do Not Track setting to turn off. No other company collects information about your activity across websites through this site.
Children
This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
